Provide customers with a positive experience that exceeds their expectation and inspires them to shop Dion C-Stores again and again.
Be familiar with and follow all company policies and procedures.
Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
Know and follow all State alcohol and tobacco laws regarding sales.
Maintain a neat, clean, and professional image at all times.
Operate all machinery (Register, safe, credit card, EBT, fryer, and lotto machines, etc..) found in the store.
Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating change receipts, lotto receipts/payouts, coupons, making deposits, balancing cash drawers, and completing shift reports.
Follow cash controls policy keeping drawers at or below $200.00, dropping all bills larger than $20.00 received from customers.
Keep inside of store clean (checkout counter, floors, windows, restrooms, product shelves, kitchen, cooler, bathrooms, empty trash cans, etc…)
Front and face all products, keeping coffee fresh, maintaining correct amount of product (stock walk-in cooler and food/fountain bars.)
Keep outside area clean (parking lot, pumps, product displays, trash cans, windows, etc.)
Keep alto sham displays cases filled and clean with food options (fried chicken, corn dogs, mac & cheese, etc.)
