H.F. Lenz Company, a nationally recognized engineering & design firm, is seeking a creative, client focused Marketing Intern in Johnstown, PA.   Working with multi-disciplined engineering teams, this position will be responsible for assisting with presentation design, branding materials, communications, website updates, social media and other activities to market company and personnel achievements.

Primary Responsibilities:   

• Assist in development of graphic designs for marketing materials, including brochures, resumes, presentations and other publications.
• Assist Marketing team with social media platforms and other aspects of external and internal company communications.
• Assist with processing of some proposal and business development documents and information.
• Support special projects and company related events as assigned, such as trade shows, career fairs, luncheons and other company promotional events.
• Work collaboratively within the marketing department to develop and implement marketing initiatives.
• Perform other administrative duties as necessary.

Requirements: 

• Currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year college, focused in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design / Digital Media or related field is required.
• Academic coursework relevant to marketing and communications is required.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel and Adobe Suite is required.
• Strong writing skills with attention to detail, including technical writing, editing and proofreading.
• Experience or related coursework in graphic design, social media platforms, and marketing / communication strategies.

• Ability to maintain and work under strict confidentiality.
• Strong interest and desire to learn in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to comprehend complex, technical information and demonstrate with graphics.
• Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate with staff in a highly technical environment.
