Primary Responsibilities:

Seeking an entry-level Secretary to provide administrative support to engineering staff, including, but not limited to

  • Writing, editing, proofreading and formating technical specifications and documents;
  • Preparig and assembling drawing specification packages for distribution;
  • Cooridnating with project engineers, supervisors and other technical team members;
  • Preparing and formatting letters, memos and other correspondence;
  • Completing project documentation and packages accurately and on time;
  • Preparing meeting notes and disseminating information to team;
  • Printing, scanning and copying documents;
  • Maintaining confidential records and files;
  • Serving as a back-up to the department administrative assistant secretary as needed;
  • Also responsible for assisting other secretarial personnel as required such as switchboard operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with MS Office applications.
  • Experience working in an office or customer focused environment.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, printers and scanners.
  • Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work overtime hours as necessary.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships at all levels, including ‎internal clients, co-workers, clients and vendors.

Requirements:

  • ‎2 or more years of writing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience using MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work under and maintain strict confidentiality is required.‎
  • Must possess or have ability to obtain Security Clearances.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
