H.F. Lenz Co. (HFL), a leading consulting engineering firm is seeking an experienced Plumbing Designer/Drafter in our Johnstown and Lancaster, PA offices. This role will be responsible for performing technical design layout and field construction observation of plumbing and piping systems for various Commercial buildings and facilities. The candidate will work closely with our design team to turn our client's needs and our engineer's ideas into reality utilizing AutoCAD and Revit modeling. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with professional engineering staff, conduct field studies, perform construction review and inspection, and interface with clients and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree (AA) in CAD/Architectural Drafting and Design or equivalent education and experience is required;
  • ·5+ years of plumbing / piping design experience is preferred;
  • Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) is preferred;
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and MS Excel is required.
  • Knowledge of construction, plumbing codes, ASPE, and Specifications is preferred.
  • Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients;
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects;
  • Ability to coordinate between multiple trades & disciplines.
