Job Requirements
Follow and complete daily/weekly decorating of cakes and other bakery items, including special orders.
Retrieve cakes and bakery products from freezer and prep for decorating.
Ensure consistent quality and accuracy in decorating, following approved decorating styles.
Place products in proper containers, label and stock product in approved freezer storage areas.
Maintain high cleanliness standards. Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelines; Comply with and reinforce all food safety regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs.
Assist team members as needed.
Physical demands include, but are not limited to, frequent use of hands for squeezing motion, bending and twisting wrists, standing in one location, walking, turning, reaching, stooping/bending, squatting, lifting/carrying objects 5 to 40 lbs., pushing/pulling objects, hand eye coordination.
Qualifications:
- Outgoing, friendly personality. Over 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Team player.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment; take initiative.
- Ability to read/interpret documents. Basic math skills.
