Key Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising store employees
• Help manage inventory, product ordering, truck unloading, and stock levels
• Maintain full, attractive shelves and product displays
• Open and close the store following proper procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, food quality, and company policies
• Handle cash management, deposits, tills, and tender procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Operate pallet jacks and other store equipment
• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shopping environment

 

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn new systems
• Experience operating pallet jacks and store equipment preferred
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling (up to 75 lbs; occasionally more)
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and use hands regularly

 

Work Environment

• Retail grocery store environment
• Exposure to hot, cold, wet, and refrigerated areas
