EVENT COOK - PART-TIME/FULL-TIME
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Prepare and cook a variety of foods based on event menus.
Ensure food is prepared and served according to proper health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Work efficiently with other staff to meet timelines and ensure food is ready and served on time.
Work efficiently to minimize food waste.
Work closely with catering manager and event planner to provide excellent customer service.
Set up and tear down work areas before, during, and after events.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the kitchen and food prep areas.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
Assist with other duties as needed, such as plating and cleanup.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Have proven experience as a cook, preferably in event catering or large-scale cooking.
Have strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation.
Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Understand and comply with all company, stateĀ and federal regulations governing health, safety, and sanitation.
Have excellent time management skills to work with a team and customers.
Be able to work a variety of shifts, including, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
