The Market in the Square is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our Bakery department as a donut fryer.

Responsibilities:

• Measuring, mixing, cutting, and frying donuts according to recipes
• Filling and finishing donuts as required
• Stocking and cleaning displays as needed
• Assisting customers on the phone and in person
• Maintaining clean, safe and sanitary bakery area and equipment
• Ensuring stocking and rotation of all bakery products and supplies

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a bakery is preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Outgoing, friendly, neat and professional
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to ensure excellent customer service

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the entire workday
• The ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs
• Weekend and holiday work will be required; flexible hours

Education and Work Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
