Examples Of Work Performed:

·         Keeps the produce cases full

·         Make sure that produce cases are clean and neat

·         Provides excellent customer service

·         Prepares produce for display

·         Keeps the work station clean

·         Looks for and remove defective produce

·         Assists on stocking days

·         Makes bags of ice and fill the ice machine

·         Any other responsibilities assigned by manager

·         Assists on front end to help bag and carry out groceries to customers’ vehicles.

Work Environment:

Work will take place in areas that are cooler than room temperature. Standing for long periods of time and moving objects 0 – 50 lbs. may be required.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required At Entry: • Basic knife skills • Knowledge of the different types of produce • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to read a weight measuring scale • Ability to use the wrapping machine Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required For Full-Performance: • Requires the ability to independently perform all of the duties of the position efficiently and effectively. • Knowledge of record keeping of ordering. • Knowledge of how to make produce baskets
