·         Ensure the customer service office is operated properly responding to customer questions and complaints effectively. Other jobs at customer service office include are: money order printing, Western Union transactions, and handling United Parcel Mailing Service, UPMS.

·         Ensures that investigations of customer injuries are handled properly.

·         Ensures that investigations of Worker’s Comp injuries are handled properly.

·         Ensure that each customer receives outstanding Customer Service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of Customer Service.

·     Assists on front end to help bag and carry out customers’ groceries to their vehicles.

·         Performs interviews of qualified applicants.

·         Conducts timely performance appraisals of associates.

·         Consistently reacts to performance issues with corrective action.

·         Supervise associates daily duties.

·         Assists with stocking of product and facing the store.

·         Perform all duties associated with nightly closing of the store.

·         Any other responsibilities assigned by manager.

 

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility:

Primary: Cashiers and Carry-outs, 20-50 associates.

Secondary: Subordinates of other Departments, 10-50 associates.

Work Environment:

Regular retail store environment with occasional travel, required at regular intervals, the ability to lift at least 50lbs., environment is fast paced with strong emphasis on excellent customer service and fair and lawful treatment of associates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications: • Age: Must be 21 years of age or older.. • Education: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent. • Experience: One year experience in the retail or grocery business in managerial position.
