Examples Of Work Performed:

(Work responsibilities may vary, depending on assignment)

·         Counts and checks safe for overages or shortages (for over or shorts).

·         Updates and emails weekly reports.

·         Knows and follows the check cashing policy.

·         Verifies minimum required amount of cash is maintained at all times.

·         Handles the filing and payments of charge accounts.

·         Daily balances, reconciles, bank deposits.

·         Duties include handling customer complaints, customer questions, Western Union transactions, money order printing, phone cards, and handling United Parcel Mailing Service (UPMS).

·         Customer service will require in certain stores receiving money for gas, cable, or phone bills.

·         Knowledge of Register system and handling refunds and register managerial functions.

·         Assists in carryout and cashier duties when needed.

·         Any other responsibilities assigned by manager.

·         Assists on front end to bag and carry out groceries to customers’ vehicles.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility:

·         Perform duties of the front end manager when needed. Supervision of 10-50 associates.

Work Environment:

Performing in an office setting, and sitting in front of a computer for long periods of time may be required. Operating a computer at least 3 hours a day. Assisting with duties of the front end.
