Day to Day Responsibilities:
Lead engineering and design of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
Perform heating/cooling load calculations, site visits, surveys, reports and commissioning in support of mechanical design for commercial building, healthcare, educational and government facilities.
Lead and collaborate engineering team members in cross-functional setting and collaborate to ensure that the design is accurate and that contract responsibilities are met according to client's expectations.
Review and interpret building codes, client specifications, as well as help improve and maintain current quality assurance processes.
Coordinate with equipment vendors for selection and specification of appropriate equipment.
Directly interface with clients for engineering and design consultations.
Travel to local project sites may be required; some overnight travel may be expected.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Trane Trace software applications is required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Direct experience working with healthcare related projects and clients is highly preferred.
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical focus from ABET accredited college or university.
- 5+ years of experience working with an MEP engineering consultant in Mechanical/HVAC Building System Design, Plumbing and Fire Protection Design.
- Must Possess a PE license.
