Prepared Foods Clerk responsibilities

  • Must maintain superior customer service
  • Assist customers with selection of prepared food, including answering any questions, introducing daily specials/products and offering suggestions
  • Following proper food preparation, cut and prepare foods for the department
  • Must be able to work around deep fryers, ovens and steamer.
  • Must be able to follow ServSafe guidelines for proper cleaning and personal hygiene
  • Must be available to work weekends and some Holidays
  • Training will be provided for the above responsibilities


  • In accordance with FLSA, DLLR, OSHA, state regulations about minor work permits for persons under 18 years of age, and age requirements to operate certain equipment, all applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and twisting and standing for long periods of time
