As a Senior Engineer, the candidate will provide engineering solutions, production and project delivery for a diverse portfolio of projects and clients in the mission critical, corporate and goverment market segments.  The successful candidate will manage all aspects of electrical design, including low to medium voltage power systems, lighting design, power distribution, telecom and life safety systems. 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design of electrical systems, including low-medium voltage power, lighting, distribution systems, telecom, fire alarm and security systems.
  • Perform load calculations, site visits, surveys, reports and commissioning in support of electrical design.
  • Lead engineering team members in cross-functional setting and collaborate to ensure that the design is accurate and that contract responsibilities are met according to client's expectations.
  • Review and interpret NEC codes, client specifications, as well as help improve and maintain current quality assurance processes.
  • Interface with equipment vendors for selection and specification of appropriate equipment.
  • Directly interface with clients for engineering and design consultations.
  • Travel to local project sites to perform engineering surveys and studies.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical focus ‎from ABET accredited college or university.‎
  • 10+ years of experience working with an MEP engineering consultant in Electrical Building ‎System Design, Lighting Design and low to medium power distribution.‎
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and SKM software applications is required.‎
  • Some travel to project sites may required, including occassional overnight travel.
  • Must have security clearance or be able to obtain a secret level security clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required.
