Bakery Clerk
The Market in the Square is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our Bakery department as a bakery clerk.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing, packaging, displaying, and merchandising bakery products
- Stocking and cleaning displays as needed
- Assisting customers on the phone and in person
- Maintaining clean, safe and sanitary bakery area and equipment
- Ensuring stocking and rotation of all bakery products and supplies
- May be required to utilize equipment, such as fryers, mixers, scales, slicers and wrappers

- Previous experience in a bakery is preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Outgoing, friendly, neat and professional
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to ensure excellent customer service
Physical Requirements:
- Requires standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the entire workday
- The ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Weekend and holiday work will be required; flexible hours
Education and Work Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
