We are seeking a Meat Wrapper to join our team at The Market in the Square.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service at our Meat counter and over the phone
  • Package, weigh, label, and merchandise meat products to ensure freshness and quality
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of meat products
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the department

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Reliable and dependable; able to work flexible schedule

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the entire work day
  • The ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required; flexible hours

Education and Work Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 1-2 years experience in a Meat Department preferred, but not necessary
