H.F. Lenz Company has an opportunity for a Mechanical/HVAC Designer to support the building system design at our growing team in Conneaut, OH. This role will perform engineering layout and design for a diverse portfolio of projects and clients in the commercial, healthcare, industrial and educational market segments.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the engineering design of new and renovated HVAC/mechanical systems, ductwork, piping and air handling equipment.
- Perform technical design and layout using AutoCAD and Revit software applications.
- Perform Mechanical and HVAC calculations using Trane Trace software.
- Collaborate with engineering staff to deliver designs that align with client expectations.
- Develop positive, trusting working relationships with internal and external clients.
Qualifications:
- Some experience in Mechanical/HVAC or building system design
- Travel to local project sites is required; some overnight travel may be expected
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
- Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit applications is preferred
