Establishing and maintaining sales, cost, and profit goals in the frozen food department through the correct ordering, handling, and merchandising of the frozen food products and performing and/or seeing that all work in the department is done by sound basic management principles and the most efficient manner.

The Deli Manager is responsible for the total operation of the delicatessen department in the store. The employee is responsible for ordering, pricing, sanitation, supervising employees, training new employees, merchandising the delicatessen case, gross profit, payroll, scheduling, and sales.
