• Waits on customers in a prompt, courteous, accurate, and efficient manner, uses suggestive selling, and maintains high quality customer relations.
  • Aggressively merchandise and promote to achieve sales goals. Support creative, and innovative merchandising introduced by management and merchandising staff.
  • Prepare and merchandise a complete variety of quality products according to the Food Service Standards outlined in the Needler’s Operations Manuals.
  • Perform analysis and formulation of recipes to determine cost of product and insure designated profit margin is maintained. All recipes should be written in recipe form, costed, marked with the appropriate retail and sent to the Deli Office for approval.
  • Continually inspect department to insure display cases are full and that variety, freshness, workmanship, dating, quality, taste, and sanitation comply with the Prepared Food Standards. Check temperatures regularly.
  • Ensure that all product is correctly weighed and labeled, prices are correct, and signage is present.
