• Travel throughout the greater Indianapolis area to sell advertising space and opportunities to vendors, advertisers, community partners, and other parties.
  • Establish, develop, and manage relationships with clients, advertising partners, and various parties as assigned by the company.
  • Establish the brand's presence throughout the greater Indianapolis area to drive traffic from distant trade areas to the company's locations.
  • Develop KPIs and execution strategies for client acquisition, retention, and revenue maximization.
  • Assist the Marketing team in developing and managing campaigns for seasonal, holiday, and other significant events.
  • Assist the Marketing team in developing and executing influencer campaigns and brand growth strategies.
  • Work with various store associates and advertising partners to deliver the most value and ideal menu of advertising services for our clients and store customers.
  • Conduct market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of the company's digital and advertising revenue streams.
  • Compose, develop, evaluate, and conduct training on onsite and digital marketing, advertising, and sales activities, strategies, and policies.
  • Collaborate with and coordinate communication among marketing, information technology, sales, research, and other departments to complete projects, while ensuring they align with the company's policies, values, and objectives.
  • Maintain current knowledge of onsite and online advertising and marketing opportunities and trends, associated analytics, and growth strategies.
  • Present the brand in a manner consistent with the company's values and standards by dressing appropriately in various professional and social settings.
  • Manage, grow, and lead the store's community dividends program.
  • Report all safety risks, or issues, and illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Possess previous experience in a marketing or advertising position, ideally in a management position. Sales experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage client interactions. relationships, and partnerships.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively and simultaneously.
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.
  • Have the ability to hear, speak, and understand English in order to respond promptly to pages for assistance, answer telephones, and communicate effectively with other store associates and customers. Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
  • Read, write, and interpret English proficiently to understand and follow company handbooks, policies, procedures, and other job-related documents posted on company notification boards.
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow up on tasks and ensure they are completed thoroughly, accurately, and punctually.
  • Have the ability and willingness to travel weekly throughout the greater Indianapolis area to accomplish company and sales objectives.
  • Exemplify strong sales skills and strategies with vendors, advertisers, and community partners.
  • Have the ability to dress appropriately and professionally in various settings, to present a positive disposition consistent with the brand's values and standards while understanding the importance of maintaining a level of formality in professional and social contexts.
  • Be available for off-hour calls and report to work as needed outside of regularly scheduled working hours.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software to effectively complete job duties.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to frequently travel short to long distances and occasionally stay overnight as needed.
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: knowledge and experience in developing and executing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Marketing Strategy: ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies, as well as gather and analyze information to assess the effectiveness of existing campaigns and strategies.
  • Pricing Research and Analysis: ability to conduct pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive pricing of digital revenue products and services.
  • Trend Awareness: ability to stay current on market and advertising trends and developments, identify new digital products and services, and make recommendations to leadership and clients.
  • Product Development: knowledge and experience in developing and delivering an ideal menu of services to digital advertising clients.
  • Brand Partnerships: ability to negotiate contracts and work with third-party brands to deliver value to both Indy Fresh Market and its partners.
  • Trend Awareness: ability to stay current on market and advertising trends and developments, identify new digital products and services, and make recommendations to leadership and clients.
  • Promotional Activities: ability to collaborate, participate in, and/or coordinate promotional activities or trade shows.
  • Project Management: ability to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and collaborate and coordinate communication among various departments to complete projects.
  • Communication: ability to effectively communicate with clients, associates, and upper management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours in a 365 day, 24/7 setting, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
